Less money, less benefits for supervisors

Linn County Supervisors will get a cut in benefits commensurate with their paycut when they drop their full-time status effective 2009, Chairwoman Linda Langston said Wednesday afternoon. 

“We will continue to have benefits, but we will pay a pro-rated share that will increase over what we currently pay as full-time employees,” Langston said.

Specifics still have to be nailed down, she said.
